Our Story
In early 1995, itravel was founded by two friends in a small office in Elizabeth Street, Sydney Australia. At that time it operated as a tiny independent travel company that prided itself on good old fashion customer service. Over the years it started to grow, but it wasn't until 2008 when it underwent a major overhaul and created a fresh, new and exciting brand. Today itravel is one of the fastest growing independent travel franchises and mobile travel agent networks in Australia. The company employs more than 100 people nationally and is constantly winning industry awards. We continue to show commitment to our customers by focusing heavily on customer experience while offering exceptionally competitive pricing. We pride ourselves on our highly trained and experienced consultants, who concentrate on giving value for money, friendly service and a smile.
itravel is independently owned and operated since 1995 with over 160 travel advisors operating across all states in Australia and is a fully accredited by the International Air Transport Association IATA. We are also proud members of the Cruise Lines International Association CLIA, a member of The Australian Travel Industry Association ATIA as well as a member of the Travel Accreditation Scheme ATAS.
