Where is Disneyland California & Where To Stay?
Located in Anaheim, California, Disneyland is easily accessible from major cities and airports. When it comes to accommodation, you're spoilt for choice.
You can stay at one of the resort’s three on-site hotels to fully immerse yourself in the Disney experience and save travel time.
Alternatively, the Sheraton Park Hotel is a great cost-effective option just one block from Disneyland, ensuring you're never too far from the magic.
Tips for Visiting Disneyland California
1. There are 2 main parks in Anaheim: Disneyland Park and Disneyland California Adventure Park. Plan at least 3 full days to fully immerse yourself in all that Disneyland has to offer.
2. Pre-planning is key to making the most out of your Disneyland adventure. Drawing from my own experience, I can assist you in crafting the ultimate game plan when you pre-book your trip.
3. I absolutely recommend a 3-Day Park Hopper Ticket with Genie+. This service, available through the Disney app, allows you to access Lightning Lane for faster ride experiences and live updates on wait times, prebook tickets, and even order food from your phone, saving you time and hassle!
4. Avoid peak crowds by visiting from mid-September to mid-November and on weekdays. Also ensure you arrive at the park early to avoid as many queues as possible.
5. Bring a portable phone charger, as your phone will be working harder than usual and you don't want to miss capturing any precious memories!
6. You could be walking around for over 8 hours, so be sure to wear comfortable footwear! And remember to pack extra socks if you plan on enjoying the water rides.

With over 50 attractions, there is so much to see and do at Disneyland, from thrilling rides and captivating shows to lively parades, interactive experiences, restaurants, and more! Prepare to be amazed by the 'World of Colour - ONE', a mesmerising night time spectacular that combines water, light, music and storytelling into an unforgettable experience. We were just in awe as Disney characters and scenes were brought to life during this breathtaking display.
Disney Character Breakfast
Experience the magic of character dining at Disneyland with several options to make your visit to Disneyland truly unforgettable. One standout experience is the Character Breakfast at Goofy's Kitchen. We had a blast enjoying a buffet filled with all sorts of breakfast delights, from Mickey Mouse waffles to bacon, pancakes and more. As we dined, Goofy and other Disney friends visited our table, creating perfect photo opportunities!
