The Ozark Greenways in Springfield, Missouri, offer a trail network consisting of 112 kilometres with treks ranging from a light, three-kilometre walk to the 56-kilometre Frisco Highline Trail. Visit the Truman Lake Mountain Bike and Hiking Park in Warsaw, which is suitable for all levels of off-road riding and includes a single track and stunning scenic views. Enjoy a two-kilometre beginner’s loop up to a 22.5-kilometre circle that will put you through your paces.
Wallace State Park in Cameron is a bird watcher’s paradise and perfect for those seeking solitude. Finally, the Katy Trail State Park is the longest developed rails-to-trails conversion in the U.S. It is the ideal destination for bicycling, running or walking through the beautiful Missouri countryside. With nine zip lines to choose from – the longest totalling 3,250 feet -you will no doubt find excitement here. In Kansas City, the Go Ape Treetop Adventure Course features a massive obstacle course from heights of 40 – 50 feet above the ground for two-three hours of fun. NRO Zipline in Lebanon has more than 3,000 feet of pure adrenaline, and tours include four zip lines with five towers and one landing pad.
