Afloat in France, a fleet of seven luxurious Belmond barges, offers serene cruises along the scenic waterways of Burgundy, Champagne and Provence. Sensational cuisine and tailor-made excursions are part of every adventure. Customised itineraries embrace exclusive wine tastings, truffle-hunting and hot-air ballooning. A private crew, chef and guide take care of every need. Between 4 and 12 passengers can be accommodated across the range of individually designed boats.

For large groups, it’s possible to charter several barges in tandem. Heated pools and canopies on deck, bicycles, a jacuzzi and even a piano are among the facilities that make every voyage a slow boat to bliss.
