One place to ticked off the ‘bucket list’ ! South Africa you were beyond belief!
It’s an adventure unlike no other. South Africa, a vast land very similar to our Australian Bush Beauty. You took my breath away !
I was fortunate enough to experience my first African Safari to South Africa on a famil with The Africa Safari Co. This is exactly what was promised and exactly what we received.

I experienced untouched wilderness, witnessed sights that few would every dream of, a favourite was the afternoon sundowners (sunset drinks), with a glass of red in hand, watching the sunset, from elevated platforms, whilst hearing the echo’s of these wild animals.

We travelled across The Waterberg Biosphere through to Pilanesberg National Park, then a visit to the capital, Cape Town, where we visited Camps Bay, Chapmans Peak, Cape Point and Muizenberg. A great hosted dinner at the Gold Restaurant, a vibrant and electric African experience. We then continued our way up to Kruger National Park and Kruger Private Reserves. Games Drives and explorations by day, African culture by night!

At Kruger National Park we spotted the “BIG FIVE” on our game drives, as well a Cheetah and a Hippo. We stayed at some beautiful lodges, including Mabula Game Lodge, Black Rhino Game Lodge, Imbali Safari Lodge, Karongwe River Lodge & Moditlo River Lodge (My favourite).
Whilst it was at hectic pace, staying at 6 different lodges, going on 7 early morning/afternoon game drives, catching 5 planes in 7 days, it’s has been an experience like no other, an absolute privilege.
