I took a trip to London in June 2016 for a really good friend 's wedding. Knowing that I had a long flight, I choose to fly with Emirates as it was named as the 2016 Best Airline of the Year. On the way back, I decided to treat myself and flew with British Airways premium economy (just to Singapore)– and I loved it! Worth the extra money; much bigger seats, bigger screens and food was amazing (I had steak and veggies).

From Singapore home I flew with Scoot airlines – what can I say about Scoot? Hmmm you get what you pay for.

While I was in London, I decided to stay in an Air BNB as I wanted to see what the fuss was all about and I was on my own so it was a great experience. The place I stayed was right next to the tube with lots of restaurants, and it was a nice cleaned room, but at the end of the day I think I prefer a hotel.

London is an amazing city! To get the feel of the city, I booked myself on a walking tour around the city. It took 2 hours, starting at Westminster Station looking at the Big Ben, then to the London Eye, Westminster Abbey, Buckingham Palace and finally ended up at Trafalgar Square.

During my time in London I also went to lots of Museums as they were free, then National Gallery, Borough Markets, St Paul’s Cathedral, London Bridge & Tower Bridge and finally Windsor Castle – unfortunately I didn’t get to see the queen.

Everything was so amazing!
