With over 36 years of experience as a travel consultant, I’ve developed an in-depth understanding of the travel industry and a passion for helping people create unforgettable journeys. After spending 20 years in the travel industry, I joined itravel in 2011 as a Travel Manager. As a mobile travel agent, I love the flexibility that technology provides, allowing me to meet and connect with my clients at their convenience—whether at home, at work, over coffee, or through email, phone, or social media.

I, the undersigned, acknowledge that I have been offered and have declined the option to purchase travel insurance for my upcoming trip. I understand that by waiving travel insurance, I am fully responsible for any financial losses or expenses that may arise as a result of unforeseen circumstances, including but not limited to:

1. Trip Cancellation or Interruption:
  • Due to personal or family emergencies, illness, or other unforeseen events.

  • Costs incurred due to illness or injury while travelling.
3. Lost, Stolen, or Damaged Baggage and Personal Effects:

It was a wonderful trip (although we should have done it ten years earlier—lots of walking and climbing in and out of boats) with many highlights, particularly the overnight cruise on the bay and the stay in Hoi San with the stay in the most beautiful French Colonial hotel. Everything went swimmingly without a hitch in arrangements; the people were beautiful, patient, kind, considerate, and always smiling despite what we in Australia would see as difficult conditions. I believe many Australians could learn many lessons from the Vietnamese about fortitude, patriotism, and respect for others.
