Kia Orana!!
Even before you touch down, just looking out the window and seeing the clearest waters, never ending coral, soaring lush mountain peaks..I knew I had chosen the right place to celebrate our wedding anniversary.
The minute you step of that plane and you breath the fresh pure air and you see the widest white smiles you’ve ever seen, you can’t help but to feel a pace of life unsurpassed for peace and it just touches the heart. Its amazing..

Our days were spent snorkelling in the clearest blue calm lagoons, where even the fish were extremely friendly. You couldn’t help but to think that you were in the Nemo movie or in an tropical aquarium..our girls absolutely loved it!
We had nothing but great weather, stunning scenery, yummy fresh local cuisine and endless chats with warm hearted people with a desirable way of life where ‘hurry’ has not been coined, making them irresistible. Not to forget their magical voices and love for music..
We hired a car for a day which meant we could go and explore the untouched, but local buses were quite cheap and operated in a circle around the Island. We had the chance to swim in secluded palm fringed beaches, stop at little villages and climb tall waterfalls. Nothing was too far.
Now, if you think that all sounds like paradise well you haven’t seen nothing yet!

Boarded a smaller plane and flew less than an hour’s flight from Rarotonga, Aitutaki has a special sense of magic and tranquillity. Not to mention one of the world’s most beautiful lagoon with crystal clear turquoise water and dazzling white sand beaches.
No colour enhancement is needed or photo touch up’s, this was truly heaven.
Aitutaki Lagoon Resort was the best decision I made, chosen because it was the only hotel situated directly on the famous lagoon itself. It was just picture perfect. Our endless days were spent by this magical lagoon. Words cannot describe!

I cannot brag enough about the Cook Islands but all I can say is that the islands captured my spirit and held in my heart, a true secret of the Pacific.
